The eighth card of the Star Nova set shows Alomar doing some warmups in Spring Training wearing his mask, but no other padding. This card discusses the outlook for Alomar's Major League breakthrough. Obviously Benito Santiago was in the way in San Diego so the card predicts a trade to another team, but the team mentioned was the New York Mets, for whom Alomar would eventually play, nearly 20 years later.
