Rookie Cup is one of my favorite sets for Sandy Alomar. Created to pay tribute to the little All Star Rookie cup trophy that Topps has been putting on cards for years, the set featured a number of players both obscure and well-known. It was a nice set that featured Alomar from his Indians days, despite coming out when he was a member of the Texas Rangers. This was my first card from the set and is the red parallel. Annoyingly, the red is virtually indistinguishable from the orange version, other than the serial numbering.
