The Sports Illustrated sets branched out fast then faded just as fast. After appearing for the first time in 1997, there were three different SI sets in 1998, then they were gone after 1999. No idea what happened there. As was typical for the SI sets, the photography was great, with vibrant colors and decent action. Not sure why there were so many sets, but oh well.
