Bowman was pretty boring for a few years from 1989 through 1991. Now Bowman is known as the Home of the Rookie Card. While it did have a number of rookie cards in those early years, it was never to the same extent and the sets were often boring-looking. It barely changed in those years. Obviously 1990 Bowman was a normal-sized set, but that was basically the only change. Much of the photography was boring as well.
