This was the first card of Alomar I had gotten that I felt was truly a premium card. Available in boxed set form and ultra-glossy, this was the rare oddball that was also a premium card. I do remember getting the card. My friend, who collected Jose Canseco, and I went to the baseball card store and saw these cards. They were selling for a couple of bucks each, and I decided to splurge for it. Hey, I was 11 and it was rare for me to spend more than 50 cents on a single card. This was a favorite card of mine for awhile.
