There were a number of sets in 2001 that had retro designs. This was the Fleer set that looked similar to late 1950's Topps sets. I was actually a little disappointed that this card did not feature a line explaining that Alomar was to be with the White Sox in 2001. I had previously seen the Manny Ramirez with such a notation and thought Alomar would have one too. It still would have been considered an Indians card anyway because the Ramirez still had an Indians logo, so it probably does not really matter anyway.
