Another Recollection
One of my favorite sets I am working on in my Sandy Alomar Jr. collection (outside of 1998 Topps Tek) is the 2004 Donruss Timelines Recollection Autographs. These are buybacks of original Donruss cards from a variety of years that are autographed and serial-numbered. I have a number of these already, including his 1989 rookie card. Today I added my seventh:
This is the 1993 card, serial-numbered to 14. There is a blue ink version as well. This is the most action-packed photo from Donruss sets. Nice play at the plate, with the Red Sox' Luis Rivera sliding into home, safely I have determined.
